The achievement of CMMI^® Level 5 represents 13 years of hard work, dealing with changes in the CMM^®-related methodologies, dealing with changes in the appraisal methodology, and dealing with changes in technologies. Techrizon has been providing the U S Army and other customers with high quality products and services for nearly 3 decades. These have all been provided on time, under budget, and of the highest quality. As with many companies, we began as a small organization and grew to meet the growing needs of the Department of Defense (DoD). We currently have a few employees who have been with us since the beginning, as well as many new talented professionals. Techrizon received The Journal Record's overall 2004 Innovator of the Year award. Techrizon earned the top award for its security services business which provides information risk and vulnerability assessments for commercial entities. This service was launched in August 2003 and is based on Techrizon's decades of experience providing information security for networks and systems within the Department of Defense.

These associates have a tremendous amount of technical training and education that is constantly kept up to date through a state-of-the-art professional development program. Techrizon uses a combination of industry-selected tools and locally developed tools to support our system/software engineering efforts. We are very proud of our own tools, which we can make available to you. These tools support all aspects of your work, such as estimation, requirements management, configuration management, testing, or CMMI^® Appraisal support. These tools have assisted us in unprecedented growth of our products, without any significant increase in staffing. Our workforce actively participates in all aspects of standard process development and maintenance. The documentation that represents our standard engineering process is easy to understand and provides the foundation to our Level 5 process. We can assist you in developing a similar baseline.

1st Level 5 in DoD
Techrizon is the first DoD affiliate to achieve CMMI^® Level 5. We have enjoyed our relationship with our military, and have deployed some of our own civilian workforce to support the war in the Middle East. Without the support of DoD, we would not have been able to see the success in CMM^®-related methodologies and implementations. We expect to see many more affiliates and government organizations achieve success with the CMMI^®, and Techrizon looks forward to assisting in any way we can.
