Techrizon
supports the Annual AMBUCS Pancake Day through the sale of tickets
to our employees. Many of our employees purchase tickets to the event
to show their support, enjoy a good meal for a good cause, and visit
with other members of our community.

The
AmTryke® therapeutic tricycle has benefited and delighted special
needs children for years. The AmTryke is hand and/or foot powered
and improves motor coordination, increases self-esteem and is fun
to ride! It not only gives them the needed therapy, but creates
independence and allows the special needs individual to ride bikes
with friends. Physical and occupational therapists acknowledge the
AmTryke tricycles therapeutic benefits to patients, citing
improved motor skills and strength development. AMBUCS chapters
across the nation give AmTrykes to recipients free of charge.

The
Challenge Trail Festival is a successful and rewarding
event held annually by Mountain Metro AMBUCS, for children and adults
with special needs. The event attracts up to 100 participants from
the Lawton and surrounding areas. The participating individuals
look forward to Challenge Trail every year. They show up with open
arms, big smiles and are full of excitement and enthusiasm. The
participants are challenged to walk a half mile track for which
they receive an armband for each lap around the track. They are
also treated to numerous games, face painting, camel rides, a cookout,
and awards.

Mountain
Metro AMBUCS has always helped with ramp building, but never took
on the task of building a ramp themselves until this year. The club
has built three ramps and assisted in the building of 10 others.
Ramp building creates accessible homes and businesses and provides
independence.
