Toney
Stricklin is the Vice President of Information Security and Systems
Training & Simulations for Techrizon, LLC. Before joining Techrizon,
he served over 32 years as a commissioned officer in the United States
Army and retired from active service in August 2001, as a Major General.
Over the course of his Army career, he served in a variety of command
and staff positions throughout the United States, Germany, Korea,
and Vietnam. As an Army General Officer he was assigned as the Deputy
Commanding General for Training and Assistant Commandant, United States
Army Field Artillery Center and Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Director of Requirements,
Office of Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, Headquarters
Department of the Army; and in August of 1999, he assumed the position
of Commanding General, United States Army Field Artillery Center and
Fort Sill, Oklahoma - a command of over 20,000 soldiers and government
employees responsible for the training and organization of the United
States Army Field Artillery forces worldwide. He holds a Master of
Arts Degree in International Relations from Newport College in Rhode
Island and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration
from Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma.
He first
came to Oklahoma in 1969 and returned to the area numerous times during
his military service. He has resided in Southwest Oklahoma for over
10 years. Mr. Stricklin is responsible for both the Information Security
and Systems Training & Simulations business units and for diversification
of the company. Mr. Stricklin was appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma
to serve as a member of the State Board of Career and Technology Education.
He also chaired the Information Technology Panel for the governors
Economic Development Generating Experience. Recently he was selected
to serve on the board of the Oklahoma Technology Development Corporation.
Mr. Stricklin is also President and Chairman of the Southwest Oklahoma
Advanced Technology Association. He was chosen as a Distinguished
Service Award recipient of Cameron University for the academic year
2000. In 2001, he was awarded the Cameron University School of Business
Distinguished Alumnus Award and in 2003, was an honorary inductee
into the Cameron University Chapter of Delta Mu Delta National Business
Honor Society. He is also a member of the Association of the United
States Army.
