Kevin
E. Kimbell. Mr.
Kimbell has been a Techrizon DSTATS Trainer and Hardware Tester/Repairer
on the DSTATS project since 2001. He has over 12 years of experience
as an instructor and training developer for Field Artillery systems.
As a DSTATS trainer, Mr. Kimbell was the co-instructor for over 20 DSTATS
Refresher Training courses. In addition to teaching, he assists soldiers
who call the 24/7 DSTATS Help Desk number. He provides information to
successfully establish communications between DSTATS and fire support
systems such as IFSAS, BCS, AFATDS and MLRS FDS, helps the soldiers
create databases and scenarios for their particular unit, and follows
troubleshooting procedures to resolve a variety of other hardware and
software problems. He also repairs and tests DSTATS hardware that is
covered by the maintenance contract warranty.
Mr. Kimbell
retired from the United States Army as a senior noncommissioned officer
in Field Artillery after 20 years of service. While on active duty,
he taught MLRS courses to active and reserve personnel and trained Advanced
Initial Training (AIT) students. Mr. Kimbell was the senior instructor/course
developer on the New Equipment Training (NET) team that supported the
2/130th Kansas National Guard conversion from cannon artillery to MLRS.
For his excellent mentoring and instruction, Mr. Kimbell was selected
as an honorary member of the 2/130th FA battalion. After retirement,
he joined Techrizon
as a Software Training Specialist. He trained over 130 active and reserve
soldiers during the fielding of Version 11 MLRS FDS software.
Mr. Kimbell
has completed numerous courses presented by military organizations and
universities. Examples include the Instructor Training Course, Test
Development Workshop, and System Approach to Training.
