Issue
- Limited Interoperability Training. Would your unit's digital training
be more effective if the full complement of fire support tactical systems
from sensor to shooter were participating?
Issue
- Unrealistic Training. Would digital training be enhanced if tactical
systems that are rarely available during training exercises, such as
Firefinder radars, higher echelon AFATDS/IFSAS, and cannon/rocket weapon
systems, could be realistically simulated?
Solution
- DSTATS. If
your unit has these and other training issues, the Digital Systems Test
and Training Simulator (DSTATS) is the solution. Techrizon
developed DSTATS to simulate and communicate with all fire support tactical
data systems currently fielded on the digitized
battlefield. DSTATS has a proven track record in enhancing the training
capabilities and improving digital communications proficiency of active
Army and Army National Guard Field Artillery units. Nearly 290 DSTATS
3.0 workstations are currently fielded in 45 states and Puerto Rico.
Using
DSTATS, training is versatile. DSTATS
provides initial and sustainment training in classroom and field environments.
It facilitates unit, CPX, and MOS critical task training.
Using
DSTATS, training is comprehensive. Soldiers gain in-depth system
competency by repeatedly responding to messages generated by DSTATS
scenarios and by participating in one-on-one message exchanges. With
DSTATS simulating tactical systems unavailable for training, operators
can be trained to interoperate with the full spectrum of tactical fire
support systems at all echelons.
Using
DSTATS, training is realistic. Operators receive training in digital
message processing and communications skills using their real tactical
systems. It is transparent to the operators that messages transmitted
by DSTATS are from simulated systems.
