Penetration
Testing
Penetration
testing involves security-oriented probing of a computer network to
identify vulnerabilities that an attacker could exploit. The testing
process involves an exploration of the external security features of
the computer network system, followed by an attempt to penetrate security
and gain access to the system. The tester generally uses the same methods
and tools that a real attacker would utilize.
Techrizon
offers a White Box Penetration Test. Under the White Box testing method,
the company being tested supplies information detailing their network
structure and Internet presence to our security consultants prior to
starting. Testing can be performed after business hours if necessary.
Price:
Pricing
depends on the number of external IP addresses to be scanned the length
of time dedicated to the performing the test. When applicable, travel
expenses will be directly charged to the client.
Projected
Schedule:
In most
instances, time to complete a penetration test takes three to five business
days. The test generally involves one to two security consultants. Virtually
all of the work is performed off-site but may include one person located
internally to monitor progress.
Deliverables:
Once the
testing and analysis is complete, Techrizon will generate and present
a report to management, detailing the types of tests that were attempted,
the status of our success or failure, any discovered issues and the
resultant risks, sorted by priority. We will also provide suggested
remediation to correct identified vulnerabilities.
