BS 7799-2:2002 is an internationally recognized information security management system (ISMS) standard developed by the BSI-DISC Committee BDD/2, Information Security Management. To be certified to the standard, companies must implement an information security management system that includes the activities of the company from staff training to taking instruction from the customer, the design and development of products, the purchasing of materials and services, and the delivery of the products and services.
